Skillup Africa Partnered with The Fifth Alley to educate young Africans about Tech.

In our continuous effort to train talented young Africans on globally viable skills, Skillup Africa partnered with The Fifth Alley to equip young professionals with the necessary skills that are in demand in the Tech industry.

The Fifth Alley is a digital marketing and creative branding agency that is in the business of helping B2B and B2C industries increase their presence and revenue.

And with their experience in corporate digital training, our strategic collaboration with them aimed to provide knowledge to young professionals in our community who want to explore their interest in Tech but do not have a technical background.

In our webinar held on the 9th of September, 2022, May-May Ogoigbe, a Global Marketing and Communications Leader gave presentation on non-coding skills like Digital Marketing, Community Management, Product Management, Content Writing, etc. where she emphasized on how much these roles are central to the global tech ecosystem and how young African professional can leverage on these skills.

Temitayo Diadem Adegoke, a Product Specialist, spoke at length about the guiding frameworks on how to grow a successful career in Tech. He highlighted the impact of having role models, mentors, and a consistent learning plan, etc.
